Jemina is a New York–based composer, pianist, and vocalist.
She entered Berklee with a Presidential Scholarship and pursued studies in performance, with achievements such as arranging for the Berklee Performance Center show “The Coming” and serving as musical director of the Berklee Esperanza Spalding Ensemble. She wrote, arranged, and produced a debut album “22” when you can hear her on keys, vocals, and electronics.
As a pedagogue, Jemina has been a guest speaker for the University Of Toronto (Massey College), and taught piano and vocals with an emphasis on Jazz to students of all ages and backgrounds.She is currently teaching in two Manhattan based schools, Art of Piano Playing Music School and Anahid Syourapian Piano School. Additionally, she is fluent in French and English.
