Ms. Svetlana's Biography

Svetlana is a pianist who was born and raised in Russia. She is a graduate of Safonov's State College where she earned a degree in Classical Piano Teaching and Accompaniment. Soon after, she became a chamber performer for trios, quartets and etc.

 

Post graduation, Svetlana studied fundamental classical piano teaching methods with Moscow Conservatory's professors, Tatiana Nikolaeva and Heinrich Neuhaus. Her studies included music theory, harmony, and music history. She has created educational programs about different composers and their compositions. Additionally, Svetlana has worked as a musical director and performer for music-literature programs. Furthermore, she was a member of a choir where she sang and accompanied.

 

Svetlana loves to teach piano with a creative approach individually tailored to each of her students. She incorporates different musical styles in her teaching. Not only does she love to teach piano, but also to listen and feel the music. Svetlana is fluent in Russian and English.
